As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing health initiatives that aim to improve community health standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders to assess public health needs, develop strategic plans, and ensure effective programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess health behaviours and barriers to healthcare access.
• Lead initiatives to improve health literacy in the community.
• Advocate for public health funding and resources.
• Oversee public health campaigns to promote healthy behaviours.
• Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather community feedback.
• Develop partnerships with schools, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Report on health trends and recommend policy changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Social Sciences
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in health programme management
