Fundraising Program Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Fundraising Program Officer to lead our fundraising initiatives in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to support our community projects.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and implement long-term fundraising plans.
• Conduct research to identify potential new funding sources.
• Manage donor data and communication records accurately.
• Coordinate with other departments to align fundraising efforts.
• Report on fundraising progress to leadership regularly.
• Assist in grant writing and proposals for funding opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a calendar of fundraising activities throughout the year.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Relations, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years in fundraising or community engagement role
