Job Description

As a Speech Pathologist at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders. Your expertise will greatly enhance the quality of life for our clients through individualised care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and analyze assessments for speech and communication disorders.
  • Formulate treatment regimens and convey strategies to patients and families.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators to support students in academic settings.
  • Engage in outreach services to enhance community awareness of speech pathology.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and alter approaches as necessary.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the field of speech pathology as applicable.
  • Participate in case conferences and share insights with the therapy team.
  • Support the development of community programs aimed at improving speech and language awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • HPCSA registration is a requirement
Experience
  • 3+ years in various clinical settings preferred.
