Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll provide essential care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities. You'll work under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, ensuring our patients receive the best possible support and assistance. Responsibilities

• Support patients with all aspects of personal care including grooming, hygiene, and feeding.
• Record and communicate vital signs and patient observations to healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Uphold infection control standards and practices.
• Engage with patients to provide reassurance and companionship.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and concerns.
• Aid in physical therapy exercises as per instructions from medical staff.
• Handle elective administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Adapt to the changing needs of patients.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program is essential

Experience

• No prior work experience required, but experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
