Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, lead a team of warehouse staff, and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse activities to ensure optimal service levels.
• Train new hires on warehouse policies and procedures.
• Analyze operations and suggest process enhancements.
• Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage.
• Drive adherence to productivity and safety goals.
• Liaise with transport providers for logistics solutions.
• Support cross-functional teams with inventory-related tasks.
• Document and report any incidents or accidents.
• Promote a positive workplace culture through team engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• Hazardous Material Handling Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with SAP Warehouse Management: Knowledge of SAP systems to manage inventory and operations.
