Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will provide pharmaceutical care to our community, manage the distribution of medications, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the correct usage of their medications.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide medication therapy management.
• Conduct patient consultations to reduce medication errors and improve adherence.
• Assist in training and mentoring pharmacy students and new staff.
• Report adverse drug reactions and side effects to the relevant authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Advanced qualifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working in a community or retail pharmacy

• Medication Management
