Responsibilities

• Perform grooming and hygiene services including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
• Assist in managing the schedule for pet appointments.
• Implement safety standards and follow infection control protocols.
• Conduct health checks while grooming and report any concerns to management.
• Create a positive environment for pets and customers alike.
• Engage in customer service, answering queries and providing advice.
• Keep grooming tools and equipment in optimal condition.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss customer feedback and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced grooming certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Grooming tools mastery
• Pet first aid knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pet CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in a busy salon environment: Ability to handle high volumes of clients and manage time effectively.
• Competency in using grooming software: Experience in scheduling and managing appointments through grooming software tools.
