Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to oversee our retail strategies in Cape Town. The right candidate will be responsible for leading the store operations, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective team management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management of retail operations, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Create and implement staff training programs tailored to improve performance.
  • Develop marketing plans and promotions to boost sales.
  • Conduct regular inspections of store conditions and safety standards.
  • Set performance objectives and ensure that staff are meeting these goals.
  • Coordinate stock management and logistics to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on customer engagement strategies.
  • Analyze financial reports and develop strategies to improve profitability.
  • Play a pivotal role in executing the store layout and visual merchandising.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding team performance and operational challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Management or related field
  • MBA preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in retail or operations management
