Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Manager to oversee our Durban store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You'll lead a passionate team and develop strategies to enhance store performance while cultivating a customer-centric culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of store operations including merchandising and staffing.
  • Develop promotional activities and sales incentives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers to provide feedback and build loyalty.
  • Optimize inventory turnover and reduce shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager on strategic business initiatives.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships for seamless supply chain management.
  • Handle customer complaints effectively and professionally.
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets for management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
  • Additional qualifications in sales or marketing are advantageous
