Job Description

As a Customs Consultant, you'll play an integral role in advising clients on customs regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements for international trade. You will ensure compliance with South African customs laws while assisting with the customs clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for clients on customs compliance.
• Analyze customs issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Trade Analysts to optimize supply chain operations.
• Manage and document communications with customs officials.
• Evaluate and improve internal processes related to customs compliance.
• Assist in interstate and international trade assessments.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for all customs operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or a similar field.
