Job Description

As a Forest and Conservation Worker, you'll play a crucial role in managing and caring for trees in various environments, promoting their health and safety. This position requires a hands-on approach and a passion for the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing the health of trees and making recommendations for care.
  • Participating in community outreach programs to promote conservation.
  • Collaborating with conservationists and environmental scientists on projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Arboriculture or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Experience in managing a tree trimming crew is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of tree health care and pest management
Soft Skills
  • Flexibility in working conditions
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Certification as an Arborist: Preferred for specialists in tree care.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery: Familiarity with larger equipment for forest management tasks.
