Warehouse Manager

Job Description

As our Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating shipments and inventory control, and leading a team of warehouse staff. This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to implement effective processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accurate and timely preparation for dispatch.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Provide reports on warehouse performance to senior management and recommend improvements.
• Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
• Engage with external partners for logistics and distribution needs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management best practices: Understanding of efficient supply chain processes.
