The role involves coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of freight forwarding.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of goods.
• Prepare shipping estimates and negotiate rates with carriers.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate and select freight transportation providers.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers, customers, and the logistics team.

Requirements

Education

• Matric qualification or equivalent
• Logistics or Supply Chain Management degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or a related field

• Freight Forwarding Procedures

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
