Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of aerodynamics, structural analysis, and flight dynamics. The role involves designing, testing, and optimizing aircraft systems and components while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulations to understand aerodynamic performance.
• Work with materials engineers to select suitable materials for aircraft components.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects with other engineering departments.
• Implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Document and report findings to management and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing project proposals and technical reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
