Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems. This role demands a strong technical background, innovative thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design sketches and electrical diagrams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure the quality assurance of deliverables.
• Prepare budgets and assess costs for electrical solutions.
• Work on energy-efficient designs and solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Document design processes for future reference.
• Coordinate with other engineers on integrated site work.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize engineering software for designing and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering

Languages

Advantageous

• Experience with renewable energy projects: Knowledge in solar, wind, or other renewable energy sectors.
