Job Description

We're looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to analyze data trends and develop predictive models that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business insights.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy machine learning models into production.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to explore new ideas and innovative solutions.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
• Develop A/B testing frameworks to optimize business strategies.
• Provide mentoring to junior data scientists and analysts.
• Prepare and maintain data pipelines for production data sets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science
• Master's degree in Data Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a focus on predictive modeling and data visualization
