Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on high and low voltage systems.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets for electrical systems.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss electrical requirements.
• Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to quality assurance practices.
• Monitor stock levels of equipment and materials needed for maintenance.
• Assist in the specification and selection of appropriate electrical components.
• Develop and maintain documentation for maintenance procedures and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and engineering
