Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will ensure appropriate medication use, provide valuable health advice, and support the overall health of our community in Port Elizabeth. Your role is vital in bridging healthcare and community wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Advise patients on over-the-counter medications.
  • Participate in pharmacy management and strategic planning.
  • Train and supervise junior staff and pharmacy technicians.
  • Prepare and review medication orders to ensure appropriateness.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering medications.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
