Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team in Cape Town. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
• Document and report test results and software issues in tracking tools.
• Work closely with product management and developers throughout the development process.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and defining corrective actions.
• Analyze test results to ensure alignment with quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing

Technical Skills

• Automated Testing Tools
• Manual Testing

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SQL: Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience in Agile development environments.
