Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Glued Wood Tester to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to test the quality and durability of glued wood products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining product integrity and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing on glued wood products to assess quality.
• Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes and quality adherence.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to refine adhesive formulas and wood bonding techniques.
• Assist in troubleshooting quality issues with production.
• Monitor testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop new testing methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct training sessions for new testers.
• Engage with external quality auditors during assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in quality control or testing is preferred
• Diploma in woodworking or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in glued wood testing

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of wood properties
• Ability to interpret technical specifications

Soft Skills

• Good organisational skills
• Time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods: Expertise in testing methods that do not damage the materials being tested.
• Experience in quality assurance and process improvement: Background in initiatives aimed at improving product quality and operational efficiency.
