Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Textile Cutting Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for operating and maintaining machinery used in the cutting and shaping of seafood products, ensuring an efficient workflow while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate cutting machines according to established specifications.
• Maintain consistent product quality by conducting regular inspections.
• Keep detailed records of machine operation time and product output.
• Train new operators on machine operations and safety standards.
• Assist in developing new cutting techniques to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with quality control technicians to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and strategies.
• Assist in boxing and labeling products when required.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in food processing or related field
• Any additional certifications in food safety are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the seafood or food processing industry.
