Responsibilities

• Conduct EIA and develop environmental management frameworks.
• Evaluate project proposals and suggest environmentally sustainable alternatives.
• Ensure adherence to environmental standards and practices.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project implementation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on environmental findings and recommendations.
• Participate in community engagement and promote environmental awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or management roles

Technical Skills

• Environmental Regulations Knowledge
• Risk Assessment

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Qualified Environmental Auditor
• Lead Environmental Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Membership in professional environmental organizations: Active member of organizations such as the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA).
• Experience in community engagement: Experience in facilitating community workshops and public participation processes.
