Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Forwarder to join our logistics team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will manage the planning and coordination of all freight transportation activities, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and comply with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the logistics of international freight transit.
• Ensure accurate and timely customs documentation preparation.
• Manage relationships with shipping companies and freight agents.
• Track goods through the logistics supply chain.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipments and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs.
• Provide detailed shipping reports to management.
• Stay informed of industry regulations and updates.
• Assist in optimizing shipping routes and costs.
• Train junior staff on logistics and shipping processes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Transport Management

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a freight forwarding role
