Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Paw Medical Group, you'll be at the forefront of animal healthcare. We seek a qualified and experienced professional who will provide expert veterinary services in a busy practice, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and abnormalities in animals.
  • Perform preventive care, including client education and wellness checks.
  • Engage in continuous learning to improve veterinary care techniques.
  • Liaise with specialists for advanced diagnostic or surgical procedures.
  • Assist in the management of the veterinary practice and its operations.
  • Oversee and manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in case discussions and staff meetings.
  • Support shelter initiatives through veterinary services for community animals.
  • Provide emergency care during after-hours/on-call situations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Specialisation in Surgery is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of hands-on clinical experience
