Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team in Vanderbijlpark. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and analyzing structures, ensuring their durability and safety throughout the project lifecycle. Our projects range from commercial to residential buildings, offering diverse challenges and the opportunity to work on various stages of development.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of structural components of buildings.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplines including mechanical and electrical engineers to achieve project objectives.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations as required.
• Participate in workshops and safety meetings to reinforce engineering practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the team.
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are adhered to throughout project phases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Additional certifications in BIM software preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in mixed-use structural projects

Technical Skills

• BIM Software

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
