Job Description

We are in search of a Mechanical Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems design, analysis, and project management. You will play a key role in developing engineering solutions and ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects to enhance innovation.
  • Oversee the implementation of engineering solutions in production.
  • Utilize advanced modeling techniques for problem-solving.
  • Evaluate and recommend new design tools and techniques.
  • Assist in project management to meet delivery targets.
  • Facilitate communications between engineering and other departments.
  • Participate in industry conferences to stay up-to-date.
  • Assist with technical training for staff and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes.
  • Support environmental and safety standards in design practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in a mechanical engineering role
