Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs and developing personalized treatment plans to enhance their functional abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ functional abilities.
  • Design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Work closely with families to support their understanding of therapy goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy and modify as needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system.
  • Coordinate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Support the development of workplace and community wellness programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Registered with HPCSA is mandatory
Experience
  • 3+ years of diverse clinical experience preferred
