HR Generalist

Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will support various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices and will thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the recruitment process and develop job descriptions.
• Assist in resolving employee conflicts and performance issues.
• Conduct staff training on HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee engagement surveys and analyze results.
• Develop retention strategies to minimize turnover.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department.
• Coordinate with third-party providers for outsourcing needs.
• Assist with any special HR projects as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR Management
• Master’s degree in Human Resources would be a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive HR experience

Certifications

• Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR)
• Society for Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM-CP)
