Job Responsibilities

Analyze production flow and recommend changes to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Manage daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring productivity targets are met.
Ensure that all activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
Work alongside maintenance teams to schedule and oversee equipment repair.
Engage with suppliers for the procurement of quality raw materials.
Lead projects aimed at reducing operational costs and improving efficiency.
Compile regular reports on production metrics and present findings to management.
Encourage a culture of safety and quality among factory staff.
Mentor team members in operational excellence and problem-solving techniques.
Assist in the development of manufacturing and production plans.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is an advantage
Manufacturing Processes In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
Data Analysis Proficient in analyzing production data for process improvements.
Production Planning Experience in planning and coordinating production schedules.
Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Leadership Strong ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
Problem-solving Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
English (Fluent)
Afrikaans (Basic)

Advantageous

Experience with ERP Systems: Familiarity with using ERP systems for managing production data.
Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards: Understanding of health and safety regulations within manufacturing.
