Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Advisor to provide legal guidance and support to our operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in legal counsel, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to staff on relevant legal issues and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate dispute resolution through negotiation and mediation.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of legal activities.
• Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Law is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal consulting or corporate law

• Civil Law

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Proficient

Advantageous

• Familiarity with litigation processes: Knowledge of the litigation process and experience handling cases in court.
