Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Port Elizabeth. This role involves managing inventory, leading a team, and ensuring efficient processes within the warehouse. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and possess a deep understanding of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse activities, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to enhance performance.
• Train and onboard new warehouse employees.
• Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Manage equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and processes.
• Prepare reports for management regarding warehouse operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP systems: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage warehouse data.
• Language skills in isiXhosa: Proficiency in communicating in isiXhosa is an advantage.
