Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Fleet Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our fleet safety protocols in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety regulations and experience in fleet management, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Identify safety training needs and develop training materials.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry safety standards.
  • Assist in the implementation of health and safety initiatives.
  • Manage fleet documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to safety-related inquiries and provide technical support.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure comprehensive safety training for all employees.
  • Schedule and conduct regular fleet safety reviews and assessments.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Transport Management or relevant field
  • Higher certificate in fleet management or equivalent preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet or transportation safety management
