Home Health Aide

Job Description

As a Home Health Aide, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients' daily living needs while promoting their independence. This position requires a compassionate approach and the ability to provide emotional and physical support to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Aid patients with everyday tasks and household duties.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients.
• Monitor and document vital signs as needed.
• Engage in recreational activities to enhance patient morale.
• Assist with light housekeeping as required.
• Support patients in understanding and following health regimens.
• Encourage patients to maintain social contacts and community involvement.
• Report all concerns and changes to the nursing staff immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Home Health Care or related field

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a home health or caregiving role.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Basic cooking skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
