Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components for a variety of projects. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other engineers to design electrical components for new technologies.
• Oversee the installation and testing of electrical systems.
• Monitor project progress and performance against specifications.
• Investigate and resolve electrical failures and issues.
• Optimize electrical designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and safety protocols.
• Support the procurement process by providing specifications.
• Conduct training sessions on electrical system usage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Proven work experience as an electrical engineer (5+ years)
