Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems and projects. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles and practices, along with expertise in relevant software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical designs using CAD software.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Test prototypes and make adjustments as required.
  • Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Assist in training junior engineers as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications highly regarded
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in related mechanical roles
