Telecommunications Technician

Job Description

We are searching for a Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and setup of telecom equipment such as routers and switches.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Assist with network design and implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and repairs.
• Ensure reliable communication systems are maintained for clients.
• Manage inventory of telecommunication supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunications
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in telecommunications systems

Technical Skills

• Network Troubleshooting
• Installation of Network Equipment

Certifications

• Telecom Network Technician Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
