UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our creative team in the heart of Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating user-centric designs that deliver exceptional experiences across various digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to develop engaging user interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging user experiences by implementing design principles and user-centered methodologies.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design ideas.
• Ensure designs are responsive and work across multiple devices and platforms.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on team members' designs.
• Document design processes and rationale behind design decisions.
• Collaborate with other designers to promote a culture of creativity and innovation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a tech environment

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• UX Design Certification from Nielsen Norman Group
• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in motion design: Experience in creating animations and transitions using tools like After Effects.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies: Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
