Job Description

As a Cutter Machine Tender, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cutting machines in our production environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and attention to detail, working closely with the production team to meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines, regularly checking for quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any machine issues.
• Adjust machine settings based on production requirements.
• Report machine malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Train new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Ensure correct handling of materials and equipment.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and training.
• Assist in the training of apprentices and new employees.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces.
• Follow operational guidelines to minimize waste.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in mechanical engineering or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
