Job Description

As a Restaurant Shift Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of restaurant operations during your shift. Your leadership will inspire staff to provide excellent customer service, manage quality standards, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the restaurant during your shift.
  • Train staff on service standards, menu items, and procedures.
  • Ensure all guests receive friendly and efficient service.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Resolve issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist with scheduling staff shifts and managing their breaks.
  • Ensure compliance with cash management and health regulations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure quality of food service.
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere for both staff and patrons.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric or equivalent
  • Diploma or degree in hospitality management preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a senior food service role
