Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be engaged in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and an ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review civil engineering designs and specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of contract documents.
  • Conduct surveys and analysis for project development.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies for project approvals.
  • Create reports to present project status and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards.
  • Train junior engineers and provide mentorship.
  • Develop and implement project management plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional registration with ECSA is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
