Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and demonstrate expertise in financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.
• Support in maintaining accounting records in compliance with IFRS.
• Assist in financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare year-end financial documentation and reports.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• CA(SA) preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting functions

• Excel Proficiency

Certifications

• ACCA Qualification
• CIMA Qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
