SOC Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented SOC Analyst to monitor and respond to security incidents. The ideal candidate will analyze security events, develop incident response procedures, and work collaboratively with a team to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts generated by the SOC monitoring tools.
• Analyze trends in security incidents and breaches.
• Implement and optimize security controls and incident response capabilities.
• Provide recommendations for improving overall security posture.
• Communicate with stakeholders about incident status and remediation efforts.
• Maintain logs of security incidents and events.
• Participate in cybersecurity drills and training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in cybersecurity roles

• Threat Intelligence Platforms

• Communication skills
• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards: Understanding of information security management frameworks.
• Certifications such as CEH or GIAC: Additional certification in ethical hacking or incident response.
