Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Digger Operator to join our construction team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and a strong focus on safety and precision in their work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of excavators according to the specifications outlined for each project.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in team briefings to strategize daily activities.
• Engage in ongoing skill developments and training as required.
• Ensure machinery is in good working condition and report repairs needed.
• Assist on-site teams when excavators are not in use.
• Adhere to strict timelines for project completion.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation among site workers for optimal productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training in heavy equipment operations will be advantageous.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in excavation and equipment maintenance.
