Job Description

As a Social Worker with Community Care Solutions, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing case management, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic support.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' situations to determine their needs.
• Facilitate access to services such as housing, healthcare, and counseling.
• Provide trauma-informed care and support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Advocate for systemic changes to improve community resources.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to measure progress.
• Participate in community events and awareness campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work is highly desirable

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant social work experience

Certifications

• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Isizulu: Conversational

Advantageous
