Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Event Planner to join our team in Johannesburg. As an Event Planner, you will oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and social gatherings. Your creativity, organization, and attention to detail will ensure that every event is memorable and exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute unique event experiences.
• Work closely with teams to create event themes and atmospheres.
• Inspect venues and ensure they meet event specifications.
• Monitor event schedules and adjust as necessary to ensure timelines are met.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events.
• Analyze event success and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Consider client suggestions and preferences in event planning.
• Prepare presentations for client pitches and event proposals.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation for guests and speakers if necessary.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance future event planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Additional certifications in Event Planning are beneficial.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning
