Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be proficient in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care from initial consultation through treatment.
  • Handle and respond to patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on patient history and examination.
  • Implement and evaluate protocols for patient safety and care.
  • Participate in peer reviews and case discussions.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new medical staff.
  • Promote health literacy among patients and the community.
  • Advocate for patient needs and rights.
  • Utilize medical technology and telemedicine as applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in various clinical settings
