As an Accountant at our Johannesburg office, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and assisting with auditing processes. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support financial audit processes including cooperation with auditors.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Prepare variance reports and explain discrepancies.
• Prepare financial presentations for management meetings.
• Assist in project accounting and financial tracking.
• Manage financial documentation and filing systems.
• Stay informed on new accounting trends and software updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Professional certifications such as CA or ACCA are highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Certifications

• ACCA Certification
• CIMA or equivalent is a plus

Languages
