Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization's data and IT infrastructure against cyber threats. You will implement security protocols, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with teams to develop strategies that enhance our overall cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security incidents to determine their impact on operations.
• Manage user access and authorization controls to limit exposure to sensitive data.
• Liaise with external auditors and security partners to facilitate assessments.
• Perform threat modeling and risk analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
