Responsibilities

• Establish and develop mechanical design specifications and standards.
• Integrate feedback from clients to refine designs and approaches.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies and cost estimations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material selection and procurement.
• Assist in the development of product testing protocols.
• Evaluate and improve existing designs for efficiency and functionality.
• Document project progress and updates for stakeholders.
• Research and analyze new technologies relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• GD&T

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hands-on prototyping experience: Experience with the physical prototyping of designs.
• Experience in the automotive industry: Knowledge of automotive specifications and requirements.
