Job Description

As an actuary in our Cape Town office, you will analyze financial data, develop risk models, and communicate results to non-technical colleagues. Your contributions will facilitate informed decision-making and risk management strategies for the organization. Responsibilities

  • Utilize statistical software to perform complex modeling and simulations.
  • Advise on claim reserving, risk margins, and capital requirements.
  • Deliver informative presentations to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Mentor junior actuarial staff and support their development.
  • Enhance data reports for improved decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new data sources and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
  • Additional actuarial qualifications are beneficial
